October festival Hintertux

...snappy music and cosy hours...The October festival Hintertux is held each year on the last weekend in September and is a real piece of tradition. Great atmosphere and great entertainment with top music groups in the heated tent at the parking lot of the Hintertux glacier.
The highlight is the cattle drive from the Bichlalm, which is one of the most beautiful in Tyrol. With hand-bound "bushes" and bells the cows will be festively decorated.
Friday, 28.09.2012:
• 07.00 p.m. - concert of the local brass band Tux
• 09.00 p.m. - entertainment with live music "Die Jungen Paldauer"
Saturday, 29.09.2012:
• 12.00 a.m. to 02.00 p.m. - live music "Zillertaler Mander" in the festival tent and decoration of cows on the Bichlalm hut
• from 02.00 p.m. - traditional cattle drive from the Bichlalm
• live music "Zillertaler Mander" in the tent and from 08.30 p.m. - live music "Die Pfundskerle"
